RFID Terminology

Correct and consistent use of terminology is an essential element of any RFID systems or RFID applications design, implementation and operation. RACE provides a common terminology reference which may assist you whether you are a RFID end user, RFID application operator, RFID application provider and, RFID system provider or just have an interest in RFID. RACE common terminology provides you with carefully structured layout of classified terms and descriptions of technical and business words, abbreviations and acronyms. Key features of the RACE common terminology include multiple uses of the same term where these exist. It also includes popularly used terms and where necessary the link to the corresponding correct technical reference(s).

RACE common terminology will be updated regularly to add new terms, update descriptions and remove any redundant or superseded terms.
